Privacy policy
Effective 1 October 2026.
SuperCAD AI, Inc., doing business as New Metal (“New Metal”, “we”), runs newmetal.ai. This policy says what the site collects about the people who visit it, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only.
The short version
- The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without identifying you.
- We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across other sites.
- If you email us, we use your message to reply.
What we collect
Visit data. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. To deliver pages and keep the site secure, its servers process the technical details every browser sends: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. Your browser may also send Cloudflare reports of network errors it meets while loading the site.
Analytics. A small script from Cloudflare Web Analytics records page views and how long pages take to load, with the referring page, browser, device type and country. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and does not fingerprint visitors; we see only aggregate counts. Cloudflare describes it at cloudflare.com/web-analytics.
Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever your message contains.
We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive information, and the site has no accounts, forms or logins.
How we use it
- To deliver the site and keep it secure and working.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.
- To reply to messages and keep a record of our correspondence.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure, working website and in answering the people who contact us, and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process it for us: Cloudflare, for hosting, security and analytics (its privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy), and our email provider. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or others' safety, or to a successor in a merger or acquisition, which would remain bound by this policy.
How long we keep it
Analytics are kept as aggregate counts. Cloudflare keeps visit and security logs for the short periods its own policies set. We keep email as long as the conversation needs and our business records require, then delete it.
Where it is processed
We are in the United States, and Cloudflare operates worldwide, so your information may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Write to privacy@newmetal.ai and we will answer within the time the law allows; we will not treat you differently for asking. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority. You can block the analytics script with any content blocker without affecting the site.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
